Dental PPC agency

Google Ads for dentists, measured in booked patients.

Dental PPC that pays for itself is not about more clicks. It is about bidding on the treatments you want, answering every call and message in seconds, and sending each booked patient back to Google so the campaign learns who actually sits in your chair.

Google Ads for dentists means paying to appear at the top of Google when people nearby search for dental care, such as an emergency dentist, implants or clear aligners. It works when three things run together: separate campaigns for each treatment, a fast reply to every call and message, and tracking that counts booked patients instead of clicks. Beatus Mídias is a dental PPC agency that handles all three.

Where dental ad budgets leak, from the search to the chair.

Every step loses people. The work is to lose fewer at each one: the right searches, an ad and page that answer them, a reply in seconds, an appointment that gets tracked and a patient who actually shows up.

Search: bid on the treatment, not on the word dentist.

One campaign for "dentist" mixes the person with a toothache tonight and the one comparing implant prices for next year. They need different ads, different pages and different budgets. We split campaigns by treatment, limit them to a realistic drive from your office and run call ads only when someone can pick up.

Ad: answer the question the patient just typed.

A dental ad wins the click by answering what the search asked, and wins the appointment by landing on a page about that same treatment. Four rules guide every ad we write for a practice:

  1. Say what the search askedSomeone who typed emergency dentist wants to know if you can see them today. The headline answers that, not the practice name.
  2. Price the decision, not the toothFor implants and aligners, mention consults and payment options. Exact fees belong in the consult, not the ad.
  3. Use every asset Google givesCall, location and sitelink assets per treatment make the ad bigger and send people straight to the right page.
  4. One page per treatmentThe implant ad goes to the implant page. Sending every click to the homepage is the most common reason dental ads book nobody.

Google's healthcare advertising policies and your state dental board both apply to dental ads, and nothing goes live without your approval. On Meta, the practice's website can be placed in the Health and wellness data source category, which adds data sharing restrictions, so we check that category in Events Manager before choosing a campaign objective. Reply: answer before the patient calls the next practice.

People who click a dental ad often contact two or three practices. The one that answers first, with a time slot, usually gets the appointment, and many inquiries arrive at night and on weekends, when the front desk is closed.

Our AI assistant replies to every message in seconds, using only information your practice approved. It offers times, collects the name and phone number and hands the conversation to your team whenever needed. It never diagnoses or gives clinical advice. Calls from the ads are tracked, so we can see how many were answered and how many went to voicemail. More in AI assistants for dental practices.

Your practice9:42 pm

Hi, I chipped a front tooth tonight. Can someone see me tomorrow?

Sorry to hear that! We can see you tomorrow at 8:30 am or 1:15 pm. Which works better?

8:30. Do you take my insurance? It's through my job.

Send me the plan name and our team will check your coverage before the visit. Can I have your full name and phone number to hold 8:30?

Sure, it's Dana Lee, 555 0142

You're booked for tomorrow at 8:30 am, Dana. If the pain gets worse tonight, call us and a team member will help.

Example conversation. The assistant never diagnoses, and anything urgent goes to a person.

Booking: count appointments, not clicks.

Google optimizes for whatever you tell it is a conversion. If that is a page view or a click on the phone number, it finds more of those. We track calls from the ads above a minimum length, forms and chats, then the appointment booked, and send booked and seen patients back to Google Ads as offline conversions, so the campaign learns from real patients.

On privacy: in June 2024 a federal court vacated part of the HHS guidance on online tracking technologies for public pages without a login (American Hospital Association v. Becerra). Pages behind a login and anything tied to a patient's care remain under HIPAA. We keep ad tracking on public pages and send back only that a booking happened and its value, never health details. Not legal advice. More in dental call tracking.

Visit: the only number that pays the bills.

A full schedule of no-shows costs the same ad money as a schedule of patients. Confirmations and reminders, with the patient's consent, protect the appointments the ads paid for. These are the five numbers we review with you every month, in this order:

MetricWhat it isWhat it tells you
Cost per clickWhat Google charges for each visit from the ad.Useful only next to the numbers below. Cheap clicks that never book are expensive.
Cost per leadAd spend divided by calls, forms and chats from the ads.Shows if the ad and the page attract people who want care.
Lead to bookedShare of those leads that became an appointment.Low here means the problem is the reply or the front desk, not the ad.
Show rateShare of booked appointments that actually happened.Confirmations and reminders move this number more than any bid.
Cost per new patientAd spend divided by new patients who were seen. The number that decides whether to raise or cut the budget.

What does a new patient cost from Google Ads?

Put in your practice's numbers. The math shows how many calls and bookings the budget buys, how many become patients and what is left after ad spend.

Starting values are examples, not benchmarks. Replace them with yours.

Google Ads or Meta ads for a dental practice?

Both, with different jobs. Google captures the demand that exists today. Meta creates demand for elective care that people postpone. We usually start with Google for the treatments with steady searches and add Meta for the ones you want to grow.

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Audit and tracking

We review your account, treatments and capacity, set up call, form and chat tracking, and agree on what a booked patient is worth.

  2. Weeks 2 to 4

    Launch by treatment

Separate search campaigns for the treatments you want, landing pages per treatment and the AI assistant answering every inquiry.

  3. Month 2

    Cut the waste

We read the search terms report every week, block searches that never book and test headlines and pages.

  4. Month 3

    Scale what books

Budget moves to the campaigns with the lowest cost per new patient, and booked patients go back to Google as conversions.

In English and in Spanish.

Beatus runs paid traffic for dental practices in the United States and in Mexico. For practices whose team serves Spanish-speaking patients, we build separate Spanish campaigns and landing pages, and the AI assistant replies in the language the patient wrote in. See bilingual dental marketing.

Questions dentists ask about Google Ads.

How much should a dentist spend on Google Ads?

Start from what a new patient is worth to your practice and how many you can absorb each month, not from a fixed number. Many practices begin with a test budget for one or two treatments, measure cost per booked patient for a few weeks, then raise spend where it books. Your ad spend goes straight to Google, separate from our management fee.

How long does it take for dental Google Ads to bring new patients?

Search ads can bring calls in the first days, because they show to people already looking for a dentist. The first month is mostly learning: which searches book, which waste money and how fast inquiries get answered. Most campaigns become steadier in the second and third months, once negative keywords, landing pages and conversion tracking are in place.

Is Google Ads or Facebook better for a dental practice?

They do different jobs. Google Ads captures people searching for a dentist right now, which suits emergencies, new patients and implants. Facebook and Instagram ads create interest in elective care people postpone, such as aligners, whitening and veneers. Most practices start with Google for steady demand and add Meta for the treatments they want to grow.

Why do my dental Google Ads get clicks but no patients?

Usually for one of four reasons: every ad sends people to the homepage, the campaign shows for job and school searches, calls go to voicemail or messages wait hours for a reply, or nobody tracks which clicks became appointments. We check all four in the free audit before suggesting any change to your budget.

Can you run dental ads in Spanish?

Yes. We write and run campaigns in English and Spanish, with separate ads and landing pages for each language, for practices whose team can serve Spanish-speaking patients. The AI assistant can reply in the language the patient used. Running Spanish ads without a Spanish-speaking front desk usually wastes money, so we confirm that first.

Is ad tracking on a dental website allowed under HIPAA?

In June 2024 a federal court vacated part of the HHS guidance on online tracking for public pages without a login. Pages behind a login and anything tied to a patient's care are still covered by HIPAA. We keep ad tracking on public pages and never send health details to Google or Meta. This is not legal advice; confirm with your compliance advisor.

Do I need a new website to run Google Ads?

No, but each treatment you advertise should have its own page that matches the ad, with the next step obvious: call, book or message. If your site does not have those pages, we build them as landing pages without touching the rest of your website, so the ads can start while your main site stays as it is.
